2013/5/18(Sat) 日光東照宮の春季大祭でした。

昨日と今日は日光東照宮の春季大祭でした。このお祭りは、17日の「流鏑馬神事」と18日の「百物千人武者行列」で有名です。

両日ともお弁当を作って納めるお仕事がありましたので、昨日は見られなかったのですが、今日は仕事の合間に見ることができました！　ありがとうございました！

この行列は、徳川家康の神霊を日光の東照宮へ移した際の行列を再現したもので、武士や従者に扮した人々およそ1,200人が参道を練り歩きます。

歴史ある衣装や道具に見とれ、行列の長さに圧倒され、いやもう感激でした。

今日はとっても良いお天気で、鎧や神輿がキラキラと輝いていました。あとで聞いたところによりますと、春季大祭が両日とも快晴というのは、ここ50年くらいで初めてではないかとのこと。

非常に幸運な日でした。

Shunki Taisai (spring festival) was held at Toshogu shrine on 17th and 18th of May.

This festival is well known for Yabusame (shooting arrows while riding horses) on 17th and Musha Gyouretsu (parade with samurai costume) on 18th.

I couldn't see the festival yesterday because I worked as a staff. But, at last, I got a chance to see Musha Gyouretsu! Thank you for all!!

This parade is re-enacted the moving of TOKUGAWA Ieyasu's spirit from the place where he died to Nikko.

I admired costumes and properties, and also got overwhelmed by more than a thousand people.

It was clear sunny day today and yesterday. I heard that it was the first time in decades both of two days are fine.

How lucky am I! How lucky is today for me!
