2023/8/28(Mon) 四季咲きのカキツバタが咲き始めました

 高井家の四季咲きの杜若（カキツバタ）。お盆を過ぎ、少しずつ朝晩が涼しく感じられるようになるこの時期にも１度花を咲かせます。ちょうど見頃の杜若の花が、季節の移ろいを感じさせてくれます。

Takaiya's kakitsubata (iris), which blooms three times a year, is now in full bloom. It is gradually becoming cooler in mornings and evenings in Nikko. The flowers remind us of the changing of the seasons.

Le kakitsubata (iris) de Takaiya, qui fleurit trois fois par an, est maintenant en pleine floraison. Le matin et le soir, il fait de plus en plus frais à Nikko. Les fleurs nous rappellent le changement des saisons.

 早いもので青梅の季節になりました。髙井家の庭では、梅の木に今年はたくさんの実がなっています。

ヒヨドリ君も、よく遊びに来くれます。

2023/4/9(Sun) 満開の紅八重しだれ

 日光にも桜の季節が訪れ、街の至る所で咲き乱れています。高井家の紅八重しだれ桜も満開となりました。いよいよ春爛漫です。

Cherry blossoms are blooming all over the city in Nikko. The weeping cherry tree of the Takaiya is now in full bloom. Spring has finally arrived.

 ツピツピツピツピと、シジュウカラが鳴いています。梅の花も満開です。春のお彼岸を過ぎ、高井家の庭は賑やかになってきました。

 高井家の庭の梅が咲きました。暖かくなってきて、池のメダカも顔を出し始めました。

2022/8/30(Tue) 高井家の福禄さん

七福神の福禄寿。今も高井家の玄関前でにこやかに佇んでいます。明治時代からある石像で、100年以上経つものです。手の巻物には、高井家がかつて蕎麦屋だったころの謳い文句が刻まれています。

2枚目、3枚目は同じ場所に微笑んで立つ昭和中期の福禄さんです。

Fukurokuju, one of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune.

He stands smiling in front of Takaiya entrance.

The statue has been here since the Meiji era (1868-1912), so it is more than 100 years old.

The scroll in his hand is inscribed with a catch phrase from when Takaiya used to be a Soba (buckwheat noodle) restaurant, which reads: 'Takaiya's Soba, nikko's speciality. Delicious Soba that can only be enjoyed here.'

Fukurokuju, l'un des sept dieux de la bonne fortune.

Il se tient debout, souriant, devant l'entrée de Takaiya.

La statue est là depuis l'ère Meiji (1868-1912), elle a donc plus de 100 ans.

La lettre qu'il tient dans sa main porte une phrase d'accroche datant de l'époque où Takaiya était un restaurant de Soba (sarrasin nouilles) : "Soba de Takaiya, la spécialité de Nikko. Délicieux Soba qui ne peut être dégusté qu'ici."

2022/5/25(Wed) 今年も聴こえるホーホケキョ

 今年もウグイスの「ホーホケキョ」の鳴き声が心地よく響き渡っています。高井家の庭では、夏まで鳴き声を楽しむことができます。ホーは吸う息、ホケキョは吐く息。胸をいっぱいに膨らませてさえずっているようです。

Every year, the pleasant sound of warblers can be heard in the garden of Takaiya. Here we can enjoy it from early spring to summer. They seem to be singing happily.

Chaque année, on peut entendre le son agréable des fauvettes dans le jardin de Takaiya. Ici, on peut les entendre du début du printemps à l'été. Elles semblent chanter joyeusement.

每年，“高井家”的庭园里都能听到悦耳的莺鸣。在这里，我们可以从早春到夏天享受莺叫。他们似乎在快乐地唱歌。

 高井家の庭のアケビの花がきれいに咲いています。アケビは、春は小さな花を咲かせ、秋には実をつけてくれ、一年中楽しませてくれます。

The Akebi (chocolate vine) in Takaiya garden is blooming beautifully. This Akebi delights us all year round, with its small flowers in spring and berries in autumn.

2022/4/11(Mon) ヤシオツツジが満開です

 高井家の庭のアカヤシオ（ヤシオツツジ）が満開になりました。辯天様も、ポカポカ陽気に喜んでいるようです。

Akayashio tree (Rhododendron) in the Takaiya garden is now in full bloom. Benten-sama (the Goddess of art and knowledge) seems to be pleased with the warm weather.

L'arbre Akayashio (Rhododendron) dans le jardin Takaiya est maintenant en pleine floraison. Benten-sama (la déesse de l'art et de la connaissance) semble être satisfaite du temps chaud.

2022/3/5(Sun) 令和4年の鶯の初鳴き

啓蟄も過ぎ、高井家の庭では今朝、今年初めて鶯の鳴き声が聞こえました。

高井家六代目祥太郎の日記によると、高井家の庭の鶯の初鳴きは、昭和40年は4月2日。昭和41年は4月10日。昭和44年は3月19日。ということで、今年はなかなか早めでしょうか。

「『梅一輪一輪ほどの暖かさ』とはよく言ったものだ」と日記にあるとおり、まだ寒いながらも、庭の梅の木に蕾がついているのを見ると、春がやってきたんだなあと感じます。

In the garden of the Takaiya, we heard the first warbler singing this year today.

According to the diary of Shotaro, the sixth generation owner of Takaiya, the first song of warbler in this garden was on April 2 in 1965. In 1966, it was April 10. In 1969, it was March 19. So this year's first song must be quite early.

Buds have appeared on the plum tree the garden. Although it is still cold, spring is surely coming.

Dans le jardin du Takaiya, nous avons entendu le premier chant de fauvette de cette année aujourd'hui.

Selon le journal de Shotaro, la sixième génération de propriétaires de Takaiya, le premier chant de fauvette dans ce jardin a eu lieu le 2 avril 1965. En 1966, c'était le 10 avril. En 1969, c'était le 19 mars. Le premier chant de cette année doit donc être assez précoce.

Les bourgeons sont apparus sur le prunier du jardin. Bien qu'il fasse encore froid, le printemps arrive sûrement.

2022/2/14(Mon) 雪景色もあと少し

冬の景色が楽しめるのもあと少しの間でしょうか？降り積もった雪で、なんとなく暖かく感じられるこの頃です。

2022/2/9(Wed) ほていさまを直してもらいました

高井家の庭には、明治時代から伝わる七福神の石像があります。先日、布袋様を修理していただきました。長い間、背中に担いだ袋が落ちてしまっておりましたが、無事にくっつけていただき、素敵な袋になりました。袋の穴がふさがれて、布袋様も満足そうなお顔です。

In the garden of Takaiya, there are stone statues of the Seven Gods of Good Fortune that have been there since the Meiji era. The other day, we had the statue of Hotei-sama (the god of happiness) repaired. The sack that he carried on his back had fallen off for a long time, but it was attached safely and became a nice sack. The hole in the sack has been closed up and Hotei-sama looks happy.

Dans le jardin de Takaiya, il y a des statues en pierre des sept dieux de la bonne fortune qui sont là depuis l'ère Meiji. L'autre jour, nous avons fait réparer la statue de Hotei-sama (le dieu du bonheur). Le sac qu'il portait sur son dos était tombé depuis longtemps, mais il a été attaché et est devenu un beau sac. Le trou dans le sac a été refermé et Hotei-sama a l'air heureux.

2022/1/29(Sat) ふきのとうがこんにちは

 週の後半くらいから春の気配が漂ってきた日光周辺です。本日、庭にふきのとうを発見。春はもうすぐそこまで来ています。

2021/12/27(Mon) 庭の青竹を新調しました

高井家の庭では先日、井戸蓋と蹲の青竹を新調しました。暮れの庭に青の色が映え、すがすがしい気持ちになります。着々と新年を迎える準備が進んでおります。

In the Garden of Takaiya, the green bamboo of the well cover and Tsukubai (stone wash basin) have been renewed. The green colour in the garden gives a refreshing feeling. Preparations for the New Year are well underway.

Dans le jardin de Takaiya, le bambou vert du couvercle du puits et du Tsukubai (lavabo en pierre) a été renouvelé. La couleur verte dans le jardin donne une sensation de fraîcheur. Les préparatifs de la nouvelle année vont bon train.

2021/12/8(Wed) 今年も敷松葉の季節になりました

 高井家の庭では、敷松葉をしました。毎年冬から来春まで、霜柱で地面の苔がはがれないよう、苔に松葉の布団をかけて保護をします。そろそろ年越しの準備です。

In the garden of Takaiya, we have laid pine needles. Every year, from winter until next spring, we cover the moss with pine needles to protect it from being damaged by frost columns. It is time to prepare for the New Year.

2021/11/19(Fri) ヤマアカガエル君

 突然ですが、ヤマアカガエル君の話です。

6月下旬〜9月半ば、高井家の庭の池によくヤマアカガエル君が遊びに来ていました。

毎日、微妙に違う位置から池のメダカを見守っており、人が近づくと池に飛び込んでしまいます。

9月半ばを最後にやってこなくなりました。また来年来てくれるのを待っています。
